Dubai Courts receive a senior delegation from Republic of Ukraine

His Excellency/ Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Managing Director of Dubai Courts has received a senior judicial delegation from the Republic of Ukraine in presence of the Ukrainian Consul General. The visit aims are to view best practices adopted by Dubai Courts in legal and administrative fields, with discussing the best means to speed the judicial process and enforcement of judgments in Dubai Courts.

Dubai Courts always seek to develop its foreign relations and cooperation with different entities to achieve trust in the judicial system locally and globally. Dubai Courts aspire to attain its visions in becoming globally recognized courts. The meeting was held in presence of H.E. Judge Omar Atiq Almeri, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Court and Judges, head of sections, executive directors and a number of managers at the Department.

His Excellency/ Taresh Eid Al Mansouri welcomed the visitor delegation and expressed his gratification for such visit. The visit comes in line with the strategy aiming at developing distinct friendly relations and following the means to develop such cooperation widely. His Excellency indicated that Dubai Courts shall continue to expand the use of technology in its services. The last period witnessed vast development in the technical fields on local and global levels. This development is the results of the vision of H.H. Sheik Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as his vision aim to transfer Dubai into the smartest and happiest city.

On his part, Judge Mohamed Alsabosy, head of Dubai Trial Court exhibited the judicial performance cards used at the Department. His Excellency affirmed that the Courts are compliant with developing the judicial system to cope with the smart transformation process. The smart transformation process is consistent with the existing global practices and in line with the instructions of Sheik Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make the customers happy and achieve prosperity. .The head of Dubai Trial Court indicated that the digital Case file contributed in finding active and creative channels that fulfill the needs of the customers and contribute to make them happy.

The Department’s target was always to achieve this purpose in line with Dubai Government instructions. Dubai Government instructions guarantee providing best services to public and allow them at the same time to complete the litigation process through the smart applications. Dubai Courts have transformed all its services into digital services in line with the department transformation into becoming digital courts. Dubai Courts aim to make litigation easy for litigant parties through increasing the capacity of the judicial system and achieving the highest levels of customers satisfaction and happiness. The intent of application of Dubai Government paperless strategy is to make 2021 free from papers by comprehensive transformation into paperless government.

Mr. Mohamed Abdulrahman, head of strategy and the way forward section at Dubai Courts presented to the Ukrainian delegation the judicial system applied by Dubai Courts. Mr. Mohamed explained the organization structure of the Courts, which is divided into three main instances : the trial court, the court of appeal and cassation court. The trial court is subdivided into seven special courts as follows : the civil, commercial, labor, real estate, criminal, personal status and enforcement courts. .The Head of strategy and the way forward section at Dubai Courts presented the key accomplishments made by Dubai Courts in the field of developing the judicial procedures and the courts process. The courts seek to be compliant with the vision of Dubai Courts in transforming into digital government services.

Mr. Mohamed Abdulrahman made detailed presentation to the delegation that covered the following : the judicial performance cards to control and follow up judicial work, digital notary services, online payment, digital litigation, and digital marriage contracts. These services contribute to fulfilling the public’s needs with completing their transactions in fast and smart way. This matter reflects the instructions of our wise leadership in adopting the digital transformation to find new creative channels that fulfill the needs of customers and make them happy through facilitating the services using group of comprehensive services.
